Abstract
In this case study we describe the work we performed to create a multimedia program titled, "A Functional Approach to Teaching Students With Developmental Disabilities." The program, which is currently being updated, is designed to teach emergency certified special education teachers about the services they should provide these students. Accordingly, in this paper the program's content and the activities that have been completed to create it are discussed. Lessons that other teacher educators who are similarly situated can learn from our experiences are noted also.
