AUSTRALIAN RETAIL TRADE UP IN JUNE: ABS
SYDNEY - Australian retail trade rose 0.9 per cent in June to a seasonally adjusted $A14.664 billion ($US7.94 billion) from a slightly upwardly revised $A14.533 billion ($US7.87 billion) in May, the Australian Bureau of Statistics said.
Retail turnover in volume terms for the June quarter was up 2.5 per cent at $A41.998 billion ($US22.74 billion).
IMF OPTIMISTIC OF SINGLE-DIGIT INFLATION RATE FOR INDONESIA
JAKARTA - Deputy representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to Jakarta, David Nellor, is optimistic that Indonesia will achieve its single-digit inflation rate target for this year.
