HANOI, July 31 Asia Pulse - Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Cong Tan has renewed the call for enterprises and exporters to sign contracts with farmers in order to encourage sales of Vietnam's agricultural products.
Exports of Vietnamese rice, coffee, seafood, fruit and vegetables, rural handicrafts and fine art are each expected to be worth more than US$1 billion by 2005.
Deputy PM Tan made the call at a recent two-day conference in Hanoi organised by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Fisheries.
