The Long Center is a recreation, education, and athletic complex in Clearwater, Florida. The center regularly hosts youth camps sponsored by the leisure services division of the city of Safety Harbor, including Totally Teen religious-oriented camps.
On June 18th, Zach Durbin and Jake Kruger, both 13, were visiting a bathroom at the center prior to boarding a bus with other Totally Teen campers for a field trip to an ice skating academy in Tampa Bay. On the floor near a water fountain they noticed a black leather wallet. Opening it, they found five $100 bills, a platinum Visa card, and "some other stuff' (Zach's words).
The startled youngsters wondered what they should do, and were momentarily tempted to let the "finders keepers, losers weepers" axiom prevail.
