Jake Gyllenhaal is a twenty-one-year-old actor who plays depressed mis fits in three movies this year. In "Lovely and Amazing," which was released last month, his character, Jordan, has bluish hair, no friends, a job at a one-hour photo shop, and an affair with an older woman. In "The Good Girl," he plays Holden, a college dropout who writes morbid short stories and works as a cashier in a superstore. And in "Moonlight Mile" he is Joe, a young man who attempts to move on after his fiancee dies.
