Tabloid readers in Brooklyn have had a harder time getting their fix in recent months, thanks to a campaign among Arab-American newspaper merchants to keep the staunchly pro-Israel Post off the newsstands. In April, a series of flyers, in Arabic and English, complaining of the Post's "dehumanizing treatment of Arabs and Palestinians," began circulating among the venders. The flyers argued that the paper "is not only pro-Zionist, but it hates everything called Islamic or Arabic."
