M2 PRESSWIRE-12 July 2002-BROADVISION: BroadVision forms alliance with speed-trap to bring unique web observation solution to market (C)1994-2002 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD
RDATE:07122002
BroadVision, Inc (Nasdaq: BVSN), the leading provider of enterprise business portal applications, today announced their alliance with speed-trap.com, the client-side measurement experts.
Prophet-BV is a unique journey analysis system that delivers true business insight and value out of the box. It captures and delivers real time information on the interactions and experience of every visitor who passes through a BroadVision website. It gathers data directly from a user's browser on page stickiness, registrations processes and network performance. Integrated into BroadVision's data structures, the reporting system records all activity and presents it using the context of your site providing a complete record of user activity that can be used to provide an extensive range of analysis.
You get observations on everything from pictures that users click thinking they are links, to text that catches the user's attention as an apparent hyperlink. "It provides a new perspective on how users attempt to work with your site," says Ian Turner, VP of Operations for BroadVision in Northern Europe. "I am delighted that we are able to announce our alliance with speed-trap. Our customers will benefit from a BroadVision-specific version of Prophet and will very quickly be able to observe, in real-time, every object, action and page on their site without any changes to their existing code."
