: The Bangalore Development Authority on Sunday carried out a demolition in Jayanagar IV Block. Unauthorised shops had come up in the area in addition to a basement and a three floor building which was illegally constructed and rented out to the Sudarshan Vidya Mandir, which was running a PUC college there. The demolition saved the government at least Rs 1 crore in land and commercial value.
