: With the arrest of five minor boys, the police claimed to have worked out the murder of Mehboob (10) in Mayur Vihar on Wednesday. The accused allegedly sodomised the victim before killing him.
The sodomy-cum-murder committed by such young boys has shocked even the police. While the oldest among the accused is 14, the youngest two are 12. What is more, the five confessed to having sodomised and murdered another child on January 22. Their confession to the police, however, will not be admissible in court as evidence. The first victim whose body was found by the Mayur Vihar police remains to be identified.
