: The police have arrested three persons, including two employees of Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital in east Delhi, for allegedly pilfering medicine and equipment from the hospital. Third person to be arrested is the man who was allegedly buying the stolen goods from the accused.
According to the police, they learnt that stolen medicines and surgical items from GTB Hospital were being sold in the open market. The police came to know that the suspects would be coming to Jagatpuri, Nand Nagari, on Friday to hand over some stolen articles to a customer.
A team of officers from special cell, led by assistant commissioner of police P S Kushwaha, laid a trap and at about 1.30 pm and arrested two of the suspects. They were later identified as Kanhaya Lal (40) and Yasin.
