Bystanders apprehended a man after he allegedly shot two people, including a security guard, outside a nightclub in Yeoville, Johannesburg on Saturday night, police reported on Sunday. Captain Schalk Bornman said the 24-year-old confronted the guard outside the nightclub in Decker Street around 10.30pm. The man grabbed the guard's gun and opened fire, hitting the victim in the right shoulder. The bullet also hit another man in the shoulder. The gunman was caught by onlookers as he tried to flee.
