Senegal World Cup achievements dominate South African press.

Johannesburg, South Africa (PANA) - The unpredictable football World Cup was the focus of attention in the South African press this week with the spotlight falling on Senegal, the only African team still in the competition.

The South African team returned home on last Friday after a commendable performance. Bafana Bafana twice came from behind to earn an incredible 2-2 draw against Paraguay, then they beat Slovenia 1-0, before falling to a strong Spanish side 2-3.

Since Bafana Bafana were knocked out of the competition in the first round, the South African press has moved its focus to the Senegalese effort.
