PUNE: Tomorrow's wars will be knowledge-based and highly technology-intensive.
"They can only be fought by 'thinking soldiers' and 'thinking generals', and the challenge before us is to prepare them," Dr R A Mashelkar, director-general, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has emphasised.
Mashelkar was delivering the 102nd convocation address at the National Defence Academy on Thursday. The country is not just faced with problems of border security, but with those of economic, food,water, environment and information security too, he told the cadets.
