Monrovia, Liberia (PANA) - Time difference between the Far East and West Africa has made World Cup 2002 matches an early morning affair on this part of the globe.

Hundreds of Liberians craving for first hand view of the matches in South Korea and Japan have to rise not later than six hours GMT.

For the opening game between Senegal and France, Liberians in especially the capital Monrovia were awake by five hours GMT for the game that started 30 minutes latter.
