: While the battle-lines for the byelections in the state were drawn following the scrutiny of nominations on Wednesday, active poll campaign began on May 12.

The fight would be most intense in Saidapet constituency in Chennai where AIADMK and DMK are squaring off in a high-profile confrontation.

At this DMK bastion, the AIADMK has floated the popular film personality Radha Ravi. M. Subramanian, a popular youth wing leader of the DMK would face him in the fierce fight.
