Thank you for your recent letter roundly criticizing our treatment of the Taliban and al-Qaeda detainees being held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

You'll be pleased to learn that, thanks to the concerns of citizens like you, we are creating a new program called "Liberals Accept Responsibility for Killers." In accordance with the guidelines of this program, we have decided to place one terrorist under your personal care. Your detainee, Ahmed, has been scheduled for transportation to your residence under heavily armed guard next Monday.

Ahmed is to be cared for pursuant to the standards you demanded in your letter of admonishment. We will conduct weekly inspections to ensure that your standards of care are commensurate with those you so emphatically recommended.

Ahmed's food requirements are simple, but we strongly suggest serving meals that do not require utensils, particularly knives and forks.
