NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (AFX) - Ferro Corp., a specialist in chemistry, polymer and material sciences, on Monday said it plans to close its Niagara Falls facility by the end of 2007.
The decision eliminates about 150 jobs. The plant produces a range of dielectric and industrial ceramic products mostly for the electronic materials market. The company said it would gradually transfer the work to other sites.
