Education Minister Kader Asmal will visit Maluti in the Eastern Cape on Tuesday to investigate reports of a boycott of classes due to lack of delivery of textbooks and stationery to schools in the area, his spokesman Molatwane Likhethe said on Wednesday. "The minister wants to ensure that all the necessary steps are taken to create the conditions for effective teaching and learning," Likhethe said in a statement.
