Mogadishu, Somalia (PANA) - At least three militia men were killed and five others were injured in Tuesday night's fighting at the Burhakaba area near the Somali provincial town of Baidoa, 250-km south-west of Mogadishu.

Witnesses contacted by PANA Wednesday said the fighting involved members of the Rahaweyn Resistance Army (RRA) militia, against militiamen linked to a Baidoa-based Transport Company, Tawfik.

The RRA militias were said to have closed a road linking Bay town to Mogadishu.

Trouble started when trucks belonging to Tawfik Company were about to return to Mogadishu after delivering relief supplies to Bay and Bakol.
