Freetown Sierra Leone (PANA) - Sierra Leone's opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) has rejected the National Electoral Commission (NEC) decision to disqualify the party's vice-presidential candidate, Abu Bakar Jalloh, from the 14 May polls.
APC Publicity Secretary, Ibrahim Kakay described the Commission's decision as "illegal, politically-motivated" and influenced by the ruling Sierra Leone Peoples Party. (SLPP).
SLPP Chairman Sama Banya has denied the charge.
