HONG KONG, June 28 /PRNewswire Asia-AsiaNet/ --
Visa Business School Asia Pacific uses the Enterprise Knowledge Platform to deliver training for staff at 687 member institutions
NetDimensions (www.netdimensions.com) today announced the successful implementation of a hosted e-learning service for Visa Business School Asia Pacific, a training division of Visa International, the world's leading payment brand. Powered by NetDimensions' Enterprise Knowledge Platform (EKP), the service allows the employees of Visa's 687 member institutions to take courses through Visa Business School, a training portal devoted to credit card operations and management. More than 100,000 people in 14 Asia Pacific countries are eligible to take courses using the portal.
"Visa Business School is our main channel for training staff, as well as the employees who manage the Visa card business at banks and other member institutions throughout Asia. To move the school online, we needed a full-function learning management system that was secure, stable and able to handle Asian and Western languages. We found all that and more in NetDimensions' Enterprise Knowledge Platform," said Pauline Sahetapy, director, Visa Business School Asia Pacific.
NetDimensions installed the system, which Visa is also using to manage the school's trainer-led workshops, in seven weeks. This included customizing EKP Gold to meet Visa's specific requirements, migrating courses and other content to the new system, and quality assurance and customer acceptance.
