TOKYO, July 1 Asia Pulse - The Resolution and Collection Corp. bought bad loans worth 169.9 billion yen (US$1.42 billion) on a principal basis from 20 healthy financial institutions during the April-June period, according to the RCC's revised figures released Friday.
The RCC has purchased 396.6 billion yen worth of loans in the six months from January, when the Financial Revitalization Law was revised, enhancing the RCC's ability to buy nonperforming loans.
