INDONESIA TO ANNOUNCE WINNING BID FOR JAKARTA ROAD PROJECT SOON.
JAKARTA, July 1 Asia Pulse - Minister of Resettlement and Regional Infrastructure Soenarno said on Friday the government will soon announce the winning bidder for the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) project.
"Next Wednesday, I will discuss the JORR project with the coordinating minister for the economy, the state minister for state enterprises and chairman of the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA). Hopefully, the winning bidder for the construction of part of JORR can be announced after the meeting," he said.
He expressed the hope that the meeting would not only discuss the tender for the construction of JORR but also agree on the settlement of JORR assets belonging to IBRA.
"We hope that all the problems, including JORR assets belonging to IBRA could be settled next Wednesday, so that the project can be resumed," he said.
