KOLKATA, July 1 Asia Pulse - Tea producer Williamson Magor & Company Limited (BSE:WILM) reported a significantly higher net loss of Rs 211.1 million (US$4.33 million) during the financial year ended 31 March 2002 against a marginal loss of Rs 1.8 million in the previous fiscal year.
A major part of the loss was generated during the 4th quarter of the fiscal when net loss increased to Rs 159.8 million against a net profit of Rs 17.5 million in 2000-01, the company said after a meeting to consider audited financial results.
