SEOUL, July 1 Asia Pulse - South Korea will hold consecutive meetings with Southeast Asian countries, including Vietnam, in July to discuss opening bilateral airlines starting from Busan in preparations of the October Busan Asian Games.
Busan is the second largest city in South Korea in terms of population. The port city is located over 400 km southeast of Seoul.
The Construction and Transportation Ministry said Sunday that in the first week of July, it would discuss with its Vietnamese counterpart on opening Busan-Hanoi and Busan-Ho Chi Minh airways.
Currently existing are Hanoi-Incheon and Ho Chi-Minh-Incheon air routes. Incheon is a port city neighboring Seoul.
