SYDNEY, July 1 Asia Pulse - Shares in the Australian Gas Light Company (ASX:AGL) will be placed in a trading halt at the commencement of the market today ahead of an announcement by the company.
AGL asked for the trading halt, because it had become aware of press speculation relating to the sale of Pulse Energy Pty Ltd.
"AGL wishes the trading halt to last until such time as it is in a position to make an announcement to the market clarifying its position in relation to the potential sale of Pulse Energy Ltd," the company said in a statement to the Australian Stock Exchange.
