SYDNEY, June 27 Asia Pulse - The Australian dollar plunged two US cents today on turbulent trade before rebounding in the afternoon to close a bit over one US cent weaker.
At 1700 AEST, the Australian dollar bought $US0.5633/38 compared to 0.5768/73 at yesterday's close.
This is the biggest one-day drop since January 28 2000.
