SAN JOSE, Calif. -- The newest 32-bit microcontroller and vehicle navigation display controllers will be shown by Fujitsu Microelectronics America, Inc. (FMA) at the Embedded Systems Conference in Rosemont, Illinois, June 3-6.
FMA will occupy booth 224, with the latest in controllers for vehicle navigation systems, which include capabilities that provide two-and three-dimensional rendering, a flexible layering architecture designed especially for vehicle graphics, and support for screen resolution up to XGA (1,024 x 768).
FMA introduced its MB86290A "Cremson" and MB86291 "Scarlet" auto graphics controllers last December. The newest version is the MB86292 "Orchid," which provides all the basic capabilities included in the Scarlet version, and adds a memory interface that can link up to 32 MB of SDRAM or Fast Cycle RAM (FCRAM(TM)) to meet memory-intensive requirements.
