World Choral Music Symposium in Twin Cities. (Items of Interest).

Over 3,000 prominent choral specialists, composers, scholars and choirs from around the globe will gather for the Sixth World Symposium on Choral Music August 3-10, 2002, in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota.

During the Symposium, over eighty-five choral performances will be held throughout the Twin Cities, featuring more than forty choirs in delegate and public concerts.

Never before held in the United States, the Symposium will be in Minneapolis and St. Paul in recognition of Minnesota's prominent role in the history of American choral music and the many outstanding choirs that have made Minnesota their home.
