Baghdad - President Saddam Hussein on Saturday chaired a joint meeting of Revolution Command Council (RCC) and Iraq's Command of Arab Ba'th Socialist Party. During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the RCC Izzet Ibrahim who led the Iraqi delegation to the Arab Summit has briefed the meeting with results of the Summit concluded recently in Beirut in addition to the delegation activities especially its meeting with Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Prince Abdulla bin Abdul Aziz. The meeting expressed pleasure to Prince Abdula's stance. The attendants also expressed satisfaction on settling the situation between Iraq and Kuwait. President Hussein has hailed the results achieved in the Summit, the solidarity atmosphere covering the summit and the decisions and procedures, first of which: Arabs' understanding to the significance of Arab solidarity in confronting evil threats against Arabs' interests. The meeting expressed appreciation to Arabs' supportive stand and solidarity with Iraq against the embargo and aggressive threats in addition to the Summit's call to support Palestinian people by all available means. On the other hand, the attendants have talked about massacres perpetrated by Zionist entity against Palestinian people and its leadership, especially, President Yassir Arefat's headquarters who represents a symbol to Palestinian people's steadfastness against US-backed Zionist occupation.
