Organization of the Islamic Conference Foreign ministers from dozens of Muslim countries have begun a conference in Malaysia to forge a common stance against international terrorism and its root causes. Opening the 57-member Organization of Islamic Conference meeting Monday, Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad called for agreement that any attack on civilians be labeled an act of terror. He said such acts include the September 11 attacks in the United States, the human bomb attacks by Palestinians and the Tamil Tigers, and the attacks against civilians by Israeli forces.
