Antananarivo, Madagascar (PANA) - At least persons have died after drinking adulterated alcohol in the populous suburb of Anosivavaka-Ambohimanarina, west of the Malagasy capital Antananarivo.

The drink, sold in bulk in a small house, was brewed locally by a man identified only as Rapros, who has been a "brewer" for eight years.
