KOREA'S DOOSAN PREPARING TO RE-ENTER LOCAL WHISKEY MARKET.
SEOUL, June 3 Asia Pulse - Doosan Corporation (KSE:00150) is preparing to re-enter the Korean whiskey market in September, local liquor industry sources said Monday.
Doosan has already reached an import accord with Morison Bormow of Scotland for undiluted whiskey solutions and has almost completed a local market survey to gauge its products' potential.
The company has set up a new operation team which will be posted in southern Seoul.
Doosan has decided to import and sell premium whiskey for gift use from the scottish company and may possibly develop exclusive brands made from Morison Bormow's undiluted solutions.
