TOKYO, June 3 Asia Pulse - Minolta Co (TSE:7753) is to integrate its camera sales and production divisions in Japan as part of a strategy to turn its money-losing camera operations around.
The plan involves reorganising sales structures in Japan, the US and Europe, as well as reviewing production processes, with the aim of turning an operating profit in fiscal 2003.
In Japan, Minolta will unify its camera sales unit with the parent to boost product development through unified manufacturing and sales operations.
