SYDNEY, June 3 Asia Pulse - Australian share prices opened stronger this morning as buying in News Corp and Telstra balanced out weaker banks and resources.
The benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index was up 0.9 points at 3374.5 at 1015 AEST while the All Ordinaries gained 2.1 points to 3327.2.
On the Sydney Futures Exchange, the June share price index contract was up eight points at 3367.0 - a 7.5 point discount to the underlying index - on a volume of 2,559 contracts.
