Products: 89,500 rear-riding-engine lawn mowers sold 1/95 to 1/02 at stores including Home Depot, Sears, and Western Auto for $700 to $1,200. Recalled mowers include Craftsman, Murray, Murray Select, and Wizard models with 30-inch cutting deck. Brand name is printed on front or side of mower. Model numbers are located under seat or nameplate on rear of mower. The following model numbers are subject to recall: 30560, 30565, 30577x7, 502.256210, 536.270212, 30560x5, 30575x7, 30577x8, 502.256220, MOM6115A59, 30560x60, 30575x8, 30577x31, 502.270210, MOM6115A89, 30560x99, 30575x31, 502.251250, and 502.270211.
Also recalled are 6,200 midengine Murray and Yard King riding mowers with 30-inch cutting deck sold 2/01 to 1/02 at department and hardware stores including Home Depot and Western Auto for $800 to $950. Recalled mowers bear model numbers 309005X10, 309304X8, and 309306X89.
