The fishing is very good both inside the harbor and offshore. There are tarpon all over the area and plenty of boats chasing these silver kings.

Boca Grande Pass is full of tarpon boats. Anyone interested in catching big sharks should try Boca Grande Pass. Just work around the tarpon boats. The beaches and harbor also have some fish and fewer boats -- so far.
