Upland Mortgage will return approximately $221,000 to more than 1,400 Pennsylvania consumers to settle allegations that the company charged an "attorney review fee" without providing actual legal services, according to the Pennsylvania attorney general's office.
Affected mortgage buyers will be refunded the one-time $150 fee charged between January 1999 and mid-February 2001.
