Abstract
Set in two different instructional situations, a scholarly exchange and incorporation of cognition and meta-cognition through skill development is described. The impact of how one's experiential past influences the teaching/learning exchange is addressed. Additionally, concepts regarding processing style, feeling based on thoughts, ideas, and judgments are presented for understanding the how of learning.
