Nearly 1200 participants trekked to Monaco last February to scope out the reincarnation of Imagina, first held 20 years ago and lest held in 2000. Now organized by the Monte Carlo Television Festival as Imagina.02, the so-called "International Festival for Digital Images" included seminars on such topics as VR, autonomous agents, video games, and animation and special effects; an Industry and Innovation Village featuring work from universities and research labs alongside vendor exhibits; and, as in years pest, the Imagina Awards.
