DSI Datotech's Gesture Recognition Technology (GRT) is the basis of the company's new 3D navigation device, the HandGear touchpad. The GRT interprets hand "gestures" (contact must be made, but varying degrees of force are recognized) that are performed on the HandGear touchpad.
The HandGear can recognize gestures performed with any of up to 10 fingers. Sensors in the pad track the position and force of the contacts, and each gesture can be customized to execute specific functions.
