Osem Q4 net profit up 41.6% to NIS 44.4m.

Osem today announced its fourth quarter 2001 net profit rose 41.6% to NIS 44.4 million, compared with NIS 31.3 million in the corresponding quarter in 2000. Fourth quarter sales increased by 2% to NIS 511.9 million.
Osem also posted NIS 12 million in one-time revenue, mostly from the sale of the Assis compound for NIS 7 million. There were also NIS 7 million in financing revenue. Operating profits rose 22% to NIS 41.2 million.
Osem's 2001 net profit rose 24% to NIS 126.3 million, while sales increased 4% to NIS 2.2 billion.
