Dos Santos says US is Angola's key development partner.
Washington, US (PANA) - President Jose Eduardo dos Santos says the US is Angola's key partner in development and consolidation of democracy, the Angolan news agency (ANGOP) has reported.
"We appreciate the political support we are receiving from the United States in the efforts to end the war in Angola, to strengthen the civil society, to improve the quality of our governance and to develop our economy...," Dos Santos said in Washington Wednesday.
He spoke at a dinner hosted by the Corporate Council on Africa and the US-Angola Chamber of Trade.
