Hot and humid conditions which could lead to a high level of discomfort are expected along the coast and adjacent interior north of Durban, as well as the Lowveld areas of Swaziland and Mpumalanga. GAUTENG: Morning fog patches on the Highveld at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon thundershowers, but scattered in the south. The expected UVB sunburn index in Pretoria: Very dangerous. MPUMALANGA: Fog patches on the Highveld at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot and humid in the Lowveld. Isolated thundershowers are expected on the Highveld except in the north-east but scattered in the extreme south-west. NORTHERN PROVINCE: Morning fog patches along the Escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and hot but very hot and humid in the Lowveld and Limpopo Valley. NORTH-WEST PROVINCE: Partly cloudy and hot with a few thundershowers except in the north. FREE STATE: Warm in the north-east, otherwise partly cloudy and hot with scattered thundershowers. NORTHERN CAPE: Fine in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and hot with isolated thundershowers but scattered in the south-east. The wind along the coast will be fresh southerly.
