MELBOURNE, May 1 Asia Pulse - Melbourne IT (ASX:MLB) has made a strong start to the financial year with revenue growth of more than 10 per cent in the first quarter.
"I am pleased to report that, for the first quarter of 2002, we have achieved revenue growth in excess of 10 per cent over the first quarter of 2001," said chief executive officer Adrian Kloeden.
"We have continued to maintain tight operational cost controls and to profitably increase our presence in international markets," he said.
Mr Kloeden said that first quarter cash flow has been in line with first quarter trends which are normally affected by seasonal factors, in particular the fact that domain name registrations are traditionally low at the beginning of each year.
