CANBERRA, May 1 Asia Pulse - March saw Australia posting its fifth trade deficit in a row, however a fall in imports slashed the deficit by almost half a billion dollars, official figures showed.
Allowing for seasonal factors, the March trade deficit in goods and services came in at $A79 million ($US41.99 million), down from the adjusted figure of $A567 million ($US301.36 million) the previous month when imports hit a record high.
