MUSCAT, May 1 Asia Pulse - Oman Air has launched its inaugural flight to East Africa.
Oman Air's flight No. 701 left Seeb international airport Monday for Zanzibar and Dar es Salam, marking the start of the carrier's services on the new route to East Africa.
A function was held at Seeb Air port to mark the occasion. Mohsin bin Khamis al Balushi, Undersecretary for Tourism, was the chief guest. It was attended by government and private sector officials and Royal Oman Police officers.
With the new service, Oman Air's current network covers a total of 15 destinations in Oman, the Gulf and India.
