MUSCAT, May 1 Asia Pulse - Oman's Minister of Housing, Electricity and Water, Sheikh Suhail bin Mustahail Shimmas, has signed agreements worth RO 11.5 million (US$29.9 million) to construct housing units for people of limited income, and to expand the electricity sector and water supply to several regions in the Sultanate.
Under the agreements, 50 housing units will be constructed in the wilayat of Al Jazir in the Wusta region and a 33kv power line will be established to link Khasab power plant in Musandam Governorate with Ghalilah power plant of Ras Al Khaimah.
