SYDNEY, May 1 Asia Pulse - Unions and Tenneco executives have made a breakthrough in the national car components dispute early today, according to a media report.
A spokesman for exhaust maker Walker Australia said unions would be taking a proposal to striking workers at their Adelaide factory this morning, the ABC reported.
It said negotiations wound up in Adelaide this morning between the Australian Manufacturing Workers Union (AMWU) and Tenneco, the parent company of Walker.
