A former member of the Noordelikes rugby club in Pietersburg is to be further cross-examined by defence counsel for his ex-teammates in their Pretoria High Court murder trial on Friday. State witness Louis Strydom were with the five, as well as five other people, on the Northern Province farm Inderheken on March 25 last year, the day of the alleged murder. On Thursday he testified that when suspected poachers were first spotted that day, accused Riaan Botha vowed to kill the "kaffirs". Strydom said that when he first saw the deceased, Tshepo Matloha, he seemed unconscious and had blood on his face.
